You've Had a Birthday, Shout Hooray!
Millie had her first birthday while we were camping. Her cousin, Laney, had a birthday 6 days earlier, so we celebrated for both. Grandpa made a cherry/apple cobbler which the girls enjoyed, and Grandma brought balloons for the kids to squeeze and pop and gnaw on and chase. She also chewed that #1 candle to shreds.
We didn't get to do any of our normal birthday traditions, but she had a nice day anyway.

And it looks like you all had so much fun! I'm jealous! :)
And, happy Birthday, Emilee! (we didn't do anything for Peter, either---not even a single present---and we didn't have the excuse of being on a fun camping trip. But no one seems traumatized by it so I'm glad we got away with it this year! :))
MMMMmmm...candles are my favorite. What a cute thing to be able to tell her future boyfriends!
