Um, I Thought We Were Past This Behavior
I just didn't expect that when Ryan came in to "tell me something important," after lights-out time, that it would be THIS.
"I wanted to make Katie look beautiful so I drew with a marker to make her a clown."
"I wanted to make Katie look beautiful so I drew with a marker to make her a clown."
Thankfully, the owners of this property had the good sense to paint the walls with glossy paint. And thankfully for Katie's face, Ryan chose to use a washable marker. Isn't he FIVE now? I wonder what that clown was thinking at the time.

This is actually pretty funny. Only because I have been there. In fact, I'm in the process of painting Porter's room right now and it took me 4 COATS OF PRIMER to get the "drawings" covered on the wall in order to paint. I've already fore-warned him that if he even THINKS about writing on his walls after I go through all this effort to paint his room that he will loose his room. It will become daddy's new workout room. He will have to sleep on the floor in the loft. We'll see how that goes. Daddy's already looking forward to the possibilities.
Wicked!
Don't you think Katie would make a great witch for Halloween this year?
Oh my. That is a lot of marker. I'm glad you could get it off of the walls.
So what did you tell Ryan? I am trying very hard not to laugh, Jenny, really I am. It's more the oh my gosh I can't believe it type of laughter rather than ha ha so funny. =)
Is Katie free of her clown costume...?
