Ever Heard of a Brown Widow?

A yard brings about many new things. Including spiders. I rendered a Black Widow homeless two nights ago. Not to mention lifeless. Sorry to all of you spider lovers. I have my limits.

I completely support your spider killing ways Jenny. *shudders* And I have NEVER heard of or seen a brown widow. I am officially creeped out.

I learned a long time ago that they are no good around kids - or me! Here is a hint when you see a web BEFORE you see the "hour glass" marking.... When you see a web - touch it. If it is crackly and you can really hear it - it's a black widow web. If you touch it and it is like "air" - it's not. I search that little guy out if it is a crackly web because there is no way I want a grandchild bit at MY house! No Jenny - I never saw a Brown Widow! Did you google it? There is even a RED WIDOW SPIDER. Yikes!

oh my sicko! Why did you even post this picture. It's too big on my monitor and now I feel like spiders are on me. I hate spiders, doesn't matter what kind. spiders and roaches and all other bugs and I'm not afraid to kill them. But, a brown widow, and now a red widow?! Oh man, maybe a yard isn't so appealing after all! Oh my gosh, that is so creepy. Are you going to spray? oh man, I don't even know what to say anymore.
