It's Likely That No One Cares to Know
Katie's 18 month well check-up stats:
Weight: 19 lbs <5%
Height: 30" 15%
Head - oh who ever remembers that one anyway? It was 90%
Falling a little more below the curve in weight - her doctor would like to see her again in 3 months rather than 6 months. She eats a ton - not sure why she isn't packing away the weight, but if it falls even more then she'll have a blood test or something done then. I can't say that I'm terribly concerned since her development is normal.
Do you all realize that she's 18 months old and is still in rear facing carseat range? Sheesh!

I did find this amusing, especially since Clark is over the 20 pound mark (2 months ago) I never thought he'd outweigh katie! Too funny! I hope you can fatten her up. :)

whoa--the most amazing thing is the rear-facing carseat fact.

Is she still IN a rear-facing carseat? She's too tall for it, right? Tell me that girl isn't still in a rear-facing carseat. Quick!

Oh my gosh! Lily eats a ton too and is in the 3% range for her weight! Weird similarity! Our doctor said that he was more concerned that she was eating a lot and not gaining weight, rather than that she wasn't eating. Weird. He also said that as long as they have good head and neck control, it was fine to switch her carseat around. She's so much happier for car rides now. I love it! :)

Don't stress Jana - she's in a convertible carseat, not the infant bucket seat. She is about 4 inches too tall for that one.

Wow. That's all I can say. I mean... my kids out grow their infant seats around six months. But she's absolutely adorable and looks completely healthy.. I bet it's just fast metabolism.. which she'll be thankful for later in life..hee hee.

But Jen, are you saying the convertable carseat IS still facing backwards? Poor Katie, still facing the back of the car. The day we switched Emma around was the day she started enjoying car rides.
