A Boyfriend
I have had the feeling that our Lola was getting a little lonely so we recently found a nice (neutered) boy to introduce her to.
(The grey one is Lola) This white one that sheds like you would never imagine - is Leo.
I was prepared for there to be a territory battle or something of the like. It often takes quite a while before rabbits will become friends, but Lola took an immediate liking to Leo. The first night I brought Lola inside because I didn't want either bullying the other, but the next day when I put them back together and went outside to check on them, I caught them huddled up next to each other with Lola liking away at his face. This is a GOOD sign when you are looking for your bunnies to be friends.
Anyway, Leo is very friendly and gentle and box trained - the only problem is that he sheds so much I can barely touch him. :)

Well, you know what to do, right?
Just ask mom, she took the hair clippers to Codie every summer....
I was thinking the same thing as Gina...but remember the time Cody's hair grew in so thick that when she got a buzz it clogged the clippers and Mom stopped right where she was and Cody ended up with just a half-cut (a la fancy poodles)?
LOVE the bunnies!

I seriously considered shaving him. It has been VERY warm here recently (70-75 degrees) but I don't think it will last. I hesitate to shave him in "winter". Bring on the summer though - he'll be a baldy before we know it.
I SO don't remember Codie with a half-cut, though the clippers clogging up DOES sound familiar.
GET ANOTHER BUNNY. Lola looks like a good flirt. Harry Leo has to go!
