Grandma Cookies' House!
Of course we are having a fabulously fun time at Grandma Cookies' house. While she is gone to work in the mornings we just play, play, play, play, play. These kiddos spend most of the time splashing around in the water table and jumping on and around the castle slide. The weather has even been awesome since it's monsoon season - that gets me all nostalgic if you know what I mean Derek.
Anyway, enjoy some pictures of these cute kids. They speak for themselves.

I barely recognized that first picture as Aaron! Wow is that kid getting old or what??
So cute, and I'm sad that we couldn't be there as well. And I love Katie's I-took-out-my-pigtails look. Too funny!
Jenny these pictures are so gorgeous! Especially the first one of Aaron. And I really was wondering who it was at first. Totally agree with Jodie - he is really growing up. And looking more and more like Caleb, in my opinion.
Katie's scowl is so cute. I love that one too!
Looks like these cousins are having a fun time together. So lucky that you can just play with them all day. Thanks for posting so many pictures.
I agree totally - I'm SO glad that we are at Mom's house because I really can't be distracted by anything on my "to do" list. I can actually just sit and play.
What?! You let him eat dirt? Just kidding.
Thanks for posting these pictures - I've been checking Mom's blog like crazy to see what you've been up to. Glad everyone's still having a great time. Do you think it will last another 4 days?
Are you KIDDING me? I could live like this (except that I miss Derek terribly). You have dang good kids Gina - that's my real point.
Hi girls - I had to comment since I never even want to get on the computer these days - having too much fun with the kids. I would love to tell you our schedule every day. I get up at 5:30 am and get ready for the day. Around 6:30 or 6:45 am - Ryan gets up first - then I go in and get the twins up. We get dress - sing - do hair (even spiking Aaron everyday) and we all go down and eat. I usually give them a peanut butter sandwich with a little honey while I make their eggs or oatmeal. I cut up watermelon and these kids eat like Kings and Queens. Aaron gets his baby food. Jenny and Katie come down about 7:15am or so. Katie sits in the high chair and joins everyone. Jenny takes a shower and gets ready for the day. I finish up their breakfast - then clean everyone up, the bibs, trays and floor. Jenny comes down - and takes them outside all morning. I leave for work at 7:50 am. They have so much to do outside - and Ryan LOVES picking the apples and eating them and so does Judy. When I get home at 11:00 - Aaron gets up from his nap and we all eat. Nap time is exactly 1:00. Either I stay home or Jenny stays home and we get all the errands done. By 3:00 or 3:30 the twins wake up. We stay upstairs and play games and explore new toys and play until dinner time. Literally never leaving the kids. Now everyone gets back in the high chair and dinner begins. Usually cold chicken, cold green beans, apple sauce and maybe some bread, rice or potatoes. Easy Jodie! Now we go back outside to play in the water until bedtime. At 7:00 pm we bring them in - clean them up, brush teeth and by 7:30pm we read scriptures, say prayers and I lay the twins down and walk out. This is still unbelievable to me and Jenny. (good job Gina) Jenny gets her kids in bed then I go read my new camera book. Oh - so much to learn!! Anyway - the kids are P E R F E C T. Our life is P E R F E C T. I couldn't have done it without Jenny. Her kids are adoreable and so fun to be with. Aaron and Judy and also adoreable and so fun to be with. No complaints - no problems. WHAT?? We only have 4 more days - WAAAAAAAAAAAAA. We visited Grandma Great one evening before bedtime and one of the questions they asked us - "do they miss their mom and dad?" Jenny and I shouted in unison "NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo!"
"Not at all. We are so nice and careful and so loving to them. They don't even know their parents are gone." THAT IS SO SUPER GREAT to be able to say that.
Anyway - this was long - but at least I know Gina will read it!
I will update my blog. I have tons of pictures. Just waiting maybe for bedtime. THANK GINA AND CALEB. THANK JENNY AND KIDS! Tomorrow we are going to paint outside with outside paint. (1/4 c cornstarch and 1/4 c water. Mix the two and it will be watery. Add food coloring. Now give them a paint brush and go for it) This cleans up so easy and is so much fun. So we are STILL having a really super time!
Thanks Mom! I needed an update - I really miss those twins!
Now that you read it Gina - I will ask Jenny to delete it because I know it was too long to blog!
