One of our favorite Sunday activities is taking a walk around the lake and feeding the ducks. Derek got a few good pictures so I thought I'd share.
Don't worry Mom, I was right there next to Katie - just outside the picture. I wasn't going to let her fall in.
This big white duck was SO funny. I promise that it got so excited to be fed that he was wagging his tail just like a puppy! PLUS, he was panting like a dog too. I could just imagine his tongue hanging out. He was fearless as well and ate two pieces out of Katie's hand (nipped her twice, but it didn't seem to hurt her)
Well - your comment about being close to Katie and not letting her fall in the water made me smile. You must have read my mind. (I thought - are you kidding me - being across from her to take that picture- she could have fallen in!) Next time I'll read first - then react. I really enjoyed looking at the blog over and over once I knew she was safe! (it's nuts how Grandmothers turn into these crazy women!) Ryan is simply the cutest ever these days too! I MISS YOUR KIDS!
Great pictures, Derek! I really love them. My favorite is the second to last one where the water is reflecting and the kids are a bit darker against the water. So nice.
I love seeing your kids next to each other - Ryan is growing so tall. They look like they are good friends.

I'm surprised how fearless your kids are! Katie sticking her hand out so close to the duck and all. How brave!
Love the pics, they are both sooo cute!
I'm telling you, that's why he bit her. I think that she's used to feeding Cozmo - he was always SO careful with her.
