After Shot
So it looks like he only got 3 stitches - what do I know? I was sitting with my head between my legs when they finished up and then she put a band-aid on it so I had no idea there were 3. Here's a goofy picture of my frankenstein. Too bad Halloween isn't THIS week - it would be perfect don't you think?

I also wonder how the scarring will turn out. I just have to keep reminding myself that he's a kid and will heal better. He has some balding genes in him somewhere so hopefully it doesn't scar too terribly or it may be much more noticable later on in life.

Well, if nothing else, it'll be a good conversation piece...

Yeah, but the story isn't great - just tripped and fell. It would have been a better story if it happened while he was riding his tricycle down the stairs or something more fitting to his extreme-sports attraction. oh well.

What a brave little boy. He's too cute for words. At least you know what happened. Levi's first urgent care trip we didn't even know how he had cut open his head. "Umm we think he was trying to climb a tree? Really I do watch my children." Didn't go over so well.

Grandma's don't like these stories.

Hey Jen, Nik took a tumble when he was 2 1/2 and got 4 stiches on his forhead just like your little tike. The scar is barely noticable except under certain light. So no worries!! Your kids are cute!! Hannah
